Manama : Following the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to open, renovate, and restore 40 mosques under the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates across the Kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, inaugurated Zainal Mosque in Hamad Town.
Shaikh Dr. Al Hajeri highlighted the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts in constructing and maintaining mosques under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also highlighted the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in ensuring the development of mosques across all governorates.
The mosque covers an area of 1,076 square metres, with a built-up area of 816 square metres, accommodating 400 worshipers. It includes prayer areas for men and women, parking facilities, and essential amenities.
