Manama : Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister, received Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates; Yousef Mahmoud Al Shamali, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply of Jordan; Ahmed Samir Saleh, Minister of Industry and Trade of Egypt; Riad Mazour, Minister of Industry and Trade of Morocco, on the sidelines of their participation in the meetings of the Higher Committee for Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Growth.
Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs; and Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry, attended the meeting.
Shaikh Salman emphasised the significance of economic and industrial partnerships in supporting the development and enhancing access to economic determinants.
He affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships with other countries, particularly Arab countries, to achieve integration and support the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The meeting discussed topics of common interest and ways of strengthening cooperation in the economic and investment sectors.
The minister stressed Bahrain’s keenness to enhance economic and investment ties with Arab countries, praising the future outcome of the agreements signed during recent meetings.
