Cairo : Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egyptian Prime Minister, today received Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, who is on a visit to Egypt to chair the kingdom’s delegation at the first Bahraini-Egyptian Governmental Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy affirmed the depth of the long-standing fraternal Bahraini-Egyptian relations, noting that they are based on solid foundations of joint cooperation and action across various fields, thanks to the care and interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and HE President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt, in addition to the constant follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa underlined the kingdom’s keenness to broaden the Bahraini-Egyptian relations to achieve common interests and goals.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy conveyed greetings from HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the Egyptian President and Prime Minister.
Prime Minister requested Dr. Mostafa Madbouly to convey his greetings to HM King Hamad and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in addition to his wishes for abundant health and happiness to them, as well as further progress and prosperity to Bahrain.
Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the importance of the outcomes of the first meeting of the Bahraini-Egyptian Governmental Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation, hailing the initiatives and programmes discussed during it.
He affirmed the Committee’s role in consolidating bilateral relations and strategic partnerships in the trade, industrial, economic, scientific, technological, tourism and urban fields, which will benefit the two countries.
