Manama : Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education inaugurated a new building in the capital school Bahrain.
Adel Al Safar, Chairman of Capital School Bahrain, was present.
Dr. Juma affirmed the ministry’s keenness to develop private schools and establish distinct educational institutions, in the light of the educational process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and followed up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During the inauguration ceremony, Al Safar thanked the minister for attending and supporting the new building’s establishment.
Nicola Matthews, Principal of Capital School Bahrain, expressed the school’s commitment to ensuring the highest quality of education through the British National Curriculum.
She emphasised the school’s aim of excelling in national competitions in Arabic, reciting the Holy Quran, art, sports, and music.
The building is designed to accommodate 1400 students and has laboratories for advanced chemistry, physics, and biology. The school also has a football field and a basketball court, as well as a multipurpose hall and libraries.
At the end of the ceremony, the minister opened the school exhibition, which showcased the students’ achievements.
