Under the patronage of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), BDF held an honouring ceremony in BDF Officers Club, coinciding with the celebration of the 56th anniversary of the establishment of BDF.
The Commander-in-Chief deputised Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs, to inaugurate BDF Officers Club hall and honour BDF servicemen with a Medallion of Distinction awarded by the Commander-in-Chief.
Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief of Staff, was present.
The minister said that the BDF has made continuous development strides since its establishment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Highness Royal Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, and the constant follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief.
