Manama : The General Directorate of Civil Defence has intensified inspections of chemical storage sites in industrial facilities as part of its comprehensive safety oversight strategy.
The campaign aims to ensure compliance with national and international standards for hazardous materials storage, including the presence of appropriate safety systems such as ventilation, alarms, and emergency plans.
Inspection teams are conducting on-site checks to verify that all safety requirements are met and are raising awareness among staff about proper safety procedures and the correct handling of hazardous chemicals.
