Manama : In line with ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination to safeguard national security and stability, Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, received Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the National Guard Staff Director.
The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security and Brigadier Shaikh Hisham Mohammed Al Thawadi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Administrative Affairs at the National Guard.
Lieutenant General Al Hassan commended the existing cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the National Guard, noting that the meeting reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Interior, led by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and the National Guard, under the leadership of His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, to strengthening security integration and achieving the highest levels of operational readiness.
The Chief of Public Security emphasised the importance of joint training and exercises to enhance the preparedness and capabilities of personnel from both institutions in addressing emerging security challenges.
The meeting also reviewed security plans, mechanisms for joint coordination, and strategies to enhance operational readiness, in addition to discussing areas of cooperation in various specialised domains.
Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa commended the Ministry of Interior’s efforts in maintaining security and stability, underscoring the National Guard’s keenness to promote coordination and integration in support of Bahrain’s security and the safety of all citizens and residents.
