Manama ; The stage is set for a historic fight night on Friday, December 13, at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Bahrain as fighters completed their pre-fight rituals ahead of BRAVE CF 91 with the staredowns on Thursday night.
Ahead of their main event clash at BRAVE CF 91, Bantamweight champion Nkosi Ndebele and challenger Nicholas Hwende had an intense face-off. Following the encounter, Nkosi questioned Hwende’s confidence, claiming the Zimbabwean challenger could not look him in the eye, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown.
Elsewhere, the fight between Hamza Kooheji and Alperen Karabulut has been making headlines due to the heated buildup, which carried over into their staredown. During the face-off, Alperen escalated tensions by declaring that Hamza would “die in the cage tomorrow” before storming off.
Muhammad Mokaev and Joevincent So, meanwhile, shared a respectful staredown ahead of their 60kg catchweight bout. Mokaev’s return to the BRAVE CF cage after three years has made this one of the most anticipated fights of the year when Joevincent is stepping up on short-notice for the biggest fight of his MMA career.
The staredown between Hussain Al Kurdi and Seif Shawki turned physical, setting the tone for the night, while Mohammed Alsameea and Salah Walid butted heads to raise the stakes for their Flyweight showdown. The remaining staredowns were intense yet respectful, wrapping up the pre-fight programs on an exciting note.
BRAVE CF 91 will mark the return of BRAVE Combat Federation to Bahrain after a groundbreaking year around the world. The event is part of the BRAVE International Combat Week, which also features the IMMAF Youth Asian Championships and BRAVE CF 92, capping off a record-breaking year for the most global MMA organisation.
