Manama : Isa Al Shaiji, Chairman of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), announced the launch of the association’s silver jubilee logo, marking 25 years since its establishment.
He described the occasion as a significant milestone in the association’s development and an outcome of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al Shaiji commended the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has strengthened press freedom and empowered journalists in their national role.
He highlighted the association’s achievements over the past 25 years, including training thousands of journalists, defending press freedoms, and its members’ contributions to regional and international media advancement.
Al Shaiji announced that a major celebration will be held to honour founding members and supporters, alongside a series of events throughout the year. The official logo, designed by Bahraini artist Abdulaziz Abdulhameed, will be used across all related activities.
