Manama: The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) announced plans to launch the “National Paths” programme, as part of its training initiatives aimed at developing national cadres in the public and private sectors and enhancing national participation by improving institutional performance and advancing professional and knowledge-based skills.
The programme targets various job levels, including employees and department heads, through an integrated package of courses and workshops covering a range of topics, including the Year of Isa Al Kabeer and its national impact, building national competencies, the electoral system in the Kingdom of Bahrain, analytical skills and future foresight, innovation in national initiatives, data analysis skills to support decision-making, strategic leadership in national projects, and legislative oversight mechanisms and their impact on institutional work.
The programme also focuses on reinforcing the Royal vision for comprehensive development and its implications for national and institutional work, to enhance participants’ skills to improve performance, and equip them with priority knowledge related to the Government Plan, policies, and national legislation. It also emphasises developing skills to positively address national and regional challenges and advancing national cadres to support the national development process and achieve its future aspirations.
The institute invited those interested in benefiting from the programme to register, noting that participation is subject to specific requirements, including that applicants must be Bahraini nationals and nominated by their employer. The institute also designated the email (training@bipd.org) for registration and enquiries. The programme is scheduled to run throughout 2026 across two timelines tailored to each target group.
The launch of the “National Paths” programme forms part of the institute’s efforts to enhance political awareness and build national capacities in line with current requirements, strengthening the readiness of national cadres to contribute effectively to development. The institute continues to develop and update its training content in line with national priorities, ensuring participants are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to keep pace with evolving challenges.
