Manama : Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of Bahrain International Circuit, reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to maintaining its exemplary model in organising major global events.
A comprehensive system of organisational measures has been developed in cooperation with Team Bahrain partners, placing spectator experience at the heart of preparations and reflecting the tangible organisational progress witnessed year after year at the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 race.

This came during a media briefing held at the Media Centre at Bahrain International Circuit, attended by representatives from the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, the National Communication Centre, and Bahrain International Circuit.
The session reviewed the latest preparations, updated organisational measures, and the enhanced traffic management plan for the 2025 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 race, scheduled to take place from April 11-13 .
Lieutenant Colonel Adel Al Doseri, Director of Operations and Traffic Monitoring at the General Directorate of Traffic, stated that the ministry has prepared a comprehensive traffic plan.
This includes reactivating vehicle checkpoints on roads leading to the circuit to prevent unauthorised access, expanding public entry gates by adding new electronic access points, and installing three temporary pedestrian bridges to ensure safe crowd movement.
These measures have been implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Works and the General Directorate of Civil Defence.

Sherif Al Mahdi, Chief Commercial Officer, explained that all grandstand tickets, as well as tickets for the Paddock Club, corporate hospitality suites, and the Champions Club, have already sold out.
He noted that a limited number of tickets remain available for The Dome Lounge hospitality area and urged spectators not to head to the circuit without tickets, as none will be sold at the venue.
Beshara Beshara, Executive Director of Corporate Services at Bahrain International Circuit, stated that this year’s preparations include a range of improvements aimed at enhancing the spectator experience.
These include increasing parking capacity through additional spaces at Exhibition World Bahrain, and installing a network of electronic screens along Gulf of Bahrain Avenue, comprising five temporary and seven permanent displays, to provide essential information and guide spectators.
To facilitate movement, newly designed vehicle stickers incorporating QR codes have been introduced to help spectators easily identify their designated parking locations. Additional taxi stands have also been established across the various parking zones, in coordination with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.
Beshara added that, to raise public awareness, a comprehensive instructional video has been produced explaining the organisational procedures and traffic plan in detail. This serves as an effective awareness tool to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent congestion.
He emphasised the importance of familiarising the public with these arrangements, which have been formulated through an integrated coordination framework involving all relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Information, and the National Communication Centre, supporting Bahrain’s distinguished model in hosting global events.
