Doha : Bahraini police personnel participating in the joint tactical security exercise Arabian Gulf Security 4 arrived in the State of Qatar.
The exercise will be held from January 25 to February 4, 2026, as part of ongoing cooperation among security agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
The participation comes in implementation of the directives of the Ministers of Interior of the GCC states, aimed at enhancing security readiness, exchanging expertise, and standardising mechanisms for addressing various security challenges and scenarios.
The Arabian Gulf Security 4 exercise focuses on strengthening coordination among security agencies, developing field capabilities, and improving response procedures for emergency situations, in support of security and stability in GCC states.
The Kingdom of Bahrain previously hosted the first edition of the joint tactical exercise Arabian Gulf Security in October 2016.
