MANAMA: Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received today Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Lieutenant General Hamad bin Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi. The meeting was attended by Minister of Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi.The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the UAE Armed Forces Chief of Staff, lauding solid fraternal relations between both peoples and their perpetual growth in all fields.Both sides discussed bilateral military cooperation and issues of common interest.The Minister of Defence held a lunch banquet at the BDF Officers Club in honour of the UEA Armed Forces Chief of Staff. It was attended by senior officers.Present at the meeting were Defence Ministry Undersecretary Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and senior BDF officers.
