Gathering of migrant workers inside and around their labour camps has led to the high number of COVID-19 cases in Bahrain.
A specialized medical team in the MOH and in cooperation with the police, precautionary measures have been taken that include examining migrant workers living in various regions of Bahrain.
The field visits to the workers’ residence were also part of the precautionary efforts, and procedures based on the mechanism for tracking contacts and was carried out through mobile screening units.
Health Ministry Under-Secretary Dr. Waleed Al Manea advised all citizens and residents to follow strict guidelines and take precautionary measures.
He highlighted the need to wash hands with soap or hand sanitizer and water regularly, and also the importance of wearing a medical face mask.
He also instructed everyone to call 444 if any symptoms appear on anyone.
