Bahrain has reported 444 new cases of coronavirus, among 291 expatriate workers, 144 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 9 are travel-related, after conducting over 6,000 additional COVID-19 tests.
The death toll stands at 36, as no new deaths were reported in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, 288 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported.
The total cases have driven to 17,713 of which 12,191 have recovered, which means that over 68 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 5,486 active cases.
Also, there are 121 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 12 are in a critical condition.
So far the country has conducted 410,842 tests, which is among the highest when looking at the country’s population.
Expatriates are having the highest RO (R-Naught) in the country.
