Al Madinah Al Munawwarah : Ali Mohammed Al Majed, Secretary-General and Deputy Chairman of Special Olympics Bahrain, participated in the meeting of the Regional Advisory Council of the Special Olympics Middle East and North Africa (MENA), held in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, Al Majed affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to actively contributing to the development of the Special Olympics movement at the regional level by supporting initiatives that promote the inclusion and empowerment of people with determination across sports and social fields.
He commended the continued cooperation among member countries in achieving shared goals, reflecting the collective dedication to advancing the objectives of the Special Olympics movement throughout the region.
The meeting discussed regional priorities, including preparations for the 2026 Regional Games, the future of leadership and inclusion in the MENA region, and the strengthening of strategic partnerships that support the development of the Special Olympics movement.
