“Based on the decision of the executive committee, several decisions have been issued which include the closure of cinemas, gyms, private pools. Activities of restaurants will be limited to only take away and delivery, sheesha shops limited to only providing food and beverages, salons closed and continuing certain services that are not urgent in the private sector. Shops will exclusively be opened to the elderly and pregnant women for one hour when the shops open” said the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MOICT), HE Zayed R. Al Zayani.
These measures will be enforced from April 9 until April 23.
