Manama : The Bahrain Cricket Federation (BCF) held a press conference today to announce a groundbreaking moment in the world of cricket: Bahrain will host the first-ever ICC Global Level 3 Coaching Course, in proud partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Scheduled from May 26 to 30, 2025, this historic initiative marks the first time the ICC Level 3 Coaching Course is being conducted on a global platform, drawing over 20 elite coaches from across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Participants will engage in a high-level, world-class learning experience designed to elevate coaching excellence and foster international collaboration.

Hosting this prestigious ICC program reaffirms Bahrain’s growing profile as a hub for global sports.”

Aligned with the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and, Chairman of the General Sports Authority & President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, this initiative supports the mission to position Bahrain as a regional hub for sports development and tourism.

The course will be inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Abdul Rahman Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority, Kingdom of Bahrain, as Chief Guest, Guests of Honor Mr. Mubassir Usmani, Chair of ICC Associate Members, • Mr. William Glenwright, ICC General Manager – Global Cricket Development will be present.
