Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree 73/ for 2023 appointing officials in the Ministry of Interior, based on a proposal by the Interior Minister, and following the Cabinet approval.
Under the decree, the following shall be appointed at the ministry:
1. Brigadier General Salman Mohammed Al Zayed Al Jalahma, as Director General of the General Directorate of Guards
2. Brigadier General Isa Hassan Mohammed Al Qattan, as Director General of the Capital Governorate Police Directorate
3. Brigadier General Saleh Rashid Fahad Al Dossari, as Director General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate
4. Brigadier General Ali Mohammed Jassim Al Kubaisi, as Director General of the General Directorate of Civil Defence
5. Brigadier General Sultan Ahmed Juma Al Kaabi, as Director General of the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate
6. Colonel Ammar Mustafa Jaafar Al Sayed, as Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs
7. Colonel Ibrahim Khalifa Ibrahim Al Thawadi, as Director General of the General Directorate of Public Security Presidency Affairs
8. Colonel Ahmed Jassim Mubarak Al Hitaimi, as Director General of the General Directorate of Ports Security
9. Colonel Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al Essa, as Commander of Police Aviation, at the rank of Director General
10. Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Mohammed Al Khalifa, as Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs
The Minister of Interior shall implement this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
