“The Bahrain health ministry has reached more than 330,000 laboratory examinations, which is among the highest when looking at the country’s population,” said Dr. Jameela Al Salman, Consultant of Infectious and Internal Diseases at Salmaniya Medical Complex
“A large number of people have recovered during the past days and the speed of the recoveries have increased due to the established treatment protocol and ongoing care,” she noted. The country’s highest daily recovery is 847, which was on 31st May.
Bahrain has reported a total of 12,311 cases of which 7,407 have recovered making over 60 percent of the confirmed cases to recover from the virus. Currently, there are 4,885 active cases.
There are currently 48 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 10 are in a critical condition.
Dr. Jameela Al-Salman stressed the requirement of individual’s commitment to the responsibility that falls on him during this pandemic stage by implementing all decisions, instructions and instructions in a manner that preserves the health and safety of citizens and residents.
