Bahrain has announced the death of a 78-year-old expatriate, a registered active case of coronavirus, taking the country’s total deaths to 28. The patient was suffering from underlying and chronic health problems. The country has been reporting more deaths in recent days. The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time. UAE has announced 568 cases, and 5 fatalities from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 39,376, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP). The new death takes the total fatalities to 281. 469 new recoveries were also announced, bringing the total recoveries to 22,275. Saudi Arabia has reported 3,369 new cases and 34 deaths from coronavirus, taking the total cases to 105,283. The death toll raised to 712 after reporting the new deaths. Bahrain has reported 654 new cases of coronavirus, the highest daily cases ever, among 314 expatriate workers, 299 contacts of active cases, and 41 are travel-related.
