Kuwait Airways has announced that it will resume flights to Saudi Arabia starting on October 25, according to a statement issued on Wednesday. The airlines stated that they would be flying to three Saudi cities, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. Kuwait Airways halted flights between the two neighboring countries back in March as countries restricted travel to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Saudi Arabia resumed domestic and international flights last month, after the airport was closed for around seven-months.

Facebook on Thursday said its WhatsApp messaging app would start to offer in-app purchases and hosting services, as it moves to boost revenue from the app while knitting together e-commerce infrastructure across the company. A fire erupted on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia’s Tanouma, located in the Kingdom’s southwestern Asir region, and the General Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense said there were no injuries reported so far. “The civil defense teams in Asir continue their tasks in extinguishing the fire in Tanouma and prevent it from reaching residential areas, without reporting any injuries so far, thank God,” the General Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense said in a tweet on Thursday. The Supreme Committee confirmed its decision about the start of the academic year for all schools in Oman on November 1, and on the conclusion of a partial curfew at 5am on Saturday 24 October.
