The number of tourists arriving in Bahrain has grown by 984% in the first quarter of 2022, compared to the same period in 2021. According to statistics published by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the Kingdom received approximately 1.7 million visitors in the first three months of the year, compared to 152,000 in 2021. Russian forces shelled central districts of the city of Kharkiv on Monday, hitting apartment buildings and a primary school and killing five people and wounding 22, the regional governor said. Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) hosted a ceremony for officers graduating in a specialized course. The ceremony was held in the presence of Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics Rear Admiral Yousef Ahmed Malallah who was briefed on the various stages of the course programs and training.
