Budapest: Defending champion Tobi Amusan of Nigeria breezed into the women’s 110 metres hurdles semi-finals on Tuesday, less than a week after having a provisional suspension on suspicion of doping rules violations lifted. Amusan was not seriously challenged in her heat which she won in 12.48 seconds, dpa reported. Shaikh Hisham bin Abdurahman Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) said that more than 50,000 e-passports have been issued for citizens since its launch in March. He hailed the Passports Directorate’s affiliates’ efforts to cross the monthly passports issuing average.
