Shaikh Hisham bin Abdurahman Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) said that more than 50,000 e-passports have been issued for citizens since its launch in March. He hailed the Passports Directorate’s affiliates’ efforts to cross the monthly passports issuing average. He also thanked citizens for their cooperation, stressing the importance of following the rules of the e-passport while applying.

The former Indian president Ram Nath Kovind will visit Bahrain from September 7 to 9. Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and the Social Insurance Organisation (SIO) have launched an initiative that will combine efforts to focus on further developing the wage protection system and link it to the labour wages database.
