Abu Dhabi : Under the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), has directed the ERC to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to those affected by the floods in Libya. According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), ERC has already begun implementing a relief programme to provide large shipments of shelter, food and medical supplies, and other necessities to Libyans in the most severely affected areas.

Manama : The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) has conducted 204 inspection visits within the local markets in August. The campaigns resulted in reporting violations that required the imposition of administrative fines in accordance with the VAT & Excise Law, in addition to monitoring several suspicions of VAT and excise evasion that may require the precautionary closing of several businesses. Accordingly, the NBR will take legal action against the violating businesses and refer those who are proven to have committed one of the evasion crimes to the competent authorities to initiate a criminal case against them, which may be punishable…

Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (82) of 2023, appointing a Director at the Ministry of Sustainable Development, based on a proposal by the Minister of Sustainable Development. The edict stipulates the following: Article (I) According to the edict, Hussain Ali Mohammed Janahi shall be appointed as Director of the Coordination and Follow-up Directorate at the Ministry of Sustainable Development. Article (II) The Minister of Sustainable Development shall implement the provisions of this edict, which takes immediate effect and will be published in the Official Gazette.

Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (83) of 2023, appointing a Director at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), based on a proposal from the Director-General of the Prime Minister’s Office. The edict stipulates the following: Article (I) According to the edict, Fatima Al Sayed Redha Ismaeel Ibrahim shall be appointed as Projects Director at the PMO. Article (II) The Director-General of the PMO shall implement the provisions of this edict, which comes into effect upon its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (84) of 2023, appointing a Director at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), based on a proposal by the President of BACA. The edict stipulates the following: Article (I) Mustafa Salman Abdulmohsen Al Sulaiman shall be appointed as Director of the Maintenance and Services Directorate at BACA. Article (II) The President of BACA shall implement the provisions of this edict, which comes into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Abu Dhabi :The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said that search teams have found the body of the second pilot of the AeroGulf helicopter that crashed off the coast of Umm Al Qaiwain during a training flight that had taken off Thursday evening. The search operations resulted in finding the body of the first pilot and recovering parts of the remaining wreckage of the craft. Investigations are still underway by the Air Accident Investigation Sector at GCAA in cooperation with the competent authorities.
