Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (58) of 2025, amending Article l of Decree (50) of 2020 on the Establishment and Formation of the Committee for Combating Extremism, Terrorism Financing, and Money Laundering, based on the proposal of the Minister of Interior and following the approval of the Cabinet. The Minister of Interior shall implement this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.

Honolulu : Hurricane Kiko was tracking to the north of the Hawaiian islands, diminishing the threat of strong winds and widespread rain, the National Weather Service said Saturday. Kiko was about 1,000 miles (1,609 kilometers) southeast of Hilo on the Big Island Saturday morning and was forecast to approach the state early to middle next week. Taiyuan : China launched a new group of remote sensing satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province on Sunday. The satellites of the Yaogan-40 03 group were launched at 12:34 a.m. (Beijing Time) aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket, and they entered the preset orbits successfully. London : UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced a cabinet reshuffle following the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner.
