Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today ratified and promulgated Law (24) of 2023 endorsing the agreement signed between the governments of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Korea regarding air services between and beyond their respective territories, following the approval of the Shura Council and the Representatives Council. According to the law, the agreement, signed in Seoul on May 15, has been ratified. The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this law, which comes into effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.

Mexico City : Eleven people were killed in a clash Friday between gunmen from a criminal gang and residents of a small farming community in central Mexico, authorities said. Riyadh : Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session held today in Riyadh on the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 1445/1446 Hijri (2024). The cabinet approved the budget, which included revenues estimated at SAR1.172 trillion, expenditures of SAR1.251tn and a deficit estimated at SAR79 billion. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques directed the ministers and officials to actively commit to implementing the development and social programmes and projects included in the budget.
Manama : The Royal Court today mourned the passing of Shaikh Isa bin Mubarak bin Hamad bin Sabah Al Khalifa. A statement issued by the Royal Court included prayer that Allah the Almighty would rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace, and bless his relatives with patience and fortitude.
