Sion : Helicopters were combing an area near the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland on Monday with hope fading of finding a missing skier after five other members of the party were found dead after freezing to death in “catastrophic” conditions. The cross-country skiers, five of them members of the same family from Valais canton, went missing near the 3,710 metre-high Tête Blanche mountain on Saturday on the Zermatt-Arolla path. Sydney : At least 50 people were hurt when a Boeing 787 operated by LATAM Airlines dropped abruptly mid-flight from Sydney to Auckland on Monday, according to the airline and a New Zealand health service organization that treated the injured. According to Reuters, the aircraft experienced a strong shake and as a result, 10 passengers and three cabin crew members were taken to a hospital, the South American carrier said as it investigates the cause. Manama : Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Education Minister, has announced that the Ministry of Education has reviewed Ramadan school timings at government schools, ensuring that there is sufficient time difference between the students’ departure times at each academic stage. Accordingly, the Ramadan school timings have been re-scheduled as follows: First: Primary schools: 08:00 am-12:10 pm. Second: Intermediate schools: 08:00 am-12:55 pm.
