Manama : The General Command of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that registration is open for civilians (Male and Female) to volunteer to join the Reserve Force. Relatives of the military and civilian staff and retirees of the BDF and the National Guard are eligible to register. Eligible applicants must be Bahraini nationals aged 18 to 55 years, but exemptions for the upper age limit will be made for technicians, specialists or based on duty requirements. Makkah : The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia chaired the ninth meeting of the Arab Committee for Meteorological Awareness and Information, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo. Several topics related to meteorological awareness work were discussed, including creating the website for the Permanent Arab Meteorological Committee. Manama : AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation launched the Ithra 2 programme. The programme targets young people from the ages of 13-15 for the first time. The programme is guided by specialists who offer individualised educational experience through accredited activities and interactive workshops focusing on topics such as self-discovery and personal development. Manama : Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has formed a strategic partnership agreement with the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) to host the Bahrain Toy Festival, the first and largest of its kind. Tunisia : Represented by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Sultanate of Oman today signed in Tunis an air services agreement with the Republic of Tunisia. The agreement was signed by Naif Ali Al Abri, Chairman of the CAA. The agreement updates an agreement signed in 1985 by the governments of the two countries to regulate air services between their regions and beyond them. The updated agreement, based on principles of open skies, allows the respective airlines to operate any number of direct flights.
