Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (8) of 2025, approving the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on eliminating double taxation on income taxes and preventing tax evasion and avoidance. The law was enacted following its approval by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives. The agreement, attached to this law, was signed in Dubai on February 11, 2024. Sydney : Hundreds of thousands of people in Australia’s Queensland state were without power on Sunday after Alfred, a downgraded tropical cyclone, brought damaging winds and heavy rains, sparking flood warnings.
