India and Pakistan are slated to make statements on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir during the ongoing 42nd UN Human Rights Session on September 10. A high-level delegation is already in Geneva to hold meetings with groups and representatives of various countries to counter Pakistan’s allegations of human rights violations in Kashmir. Iran has begun installing more advanced centrifuges and is moving toward enriching uranium with them even though that is forbidden under its nuclear deal with major powers, the International Atomic Energy Agency said on Monday. The 2015 deal only lets Iran produce enriched uranium with just over 5,000 of its first-generation IR-1 centrifuge machines. It can use far fewer advanced centrifuges for research but without accumulating enriched uranium. British Airways on Monday said it was forced to cancel all flights operations for today and tomorrow (Tuesday) after it’s pilot union went on strike over a heated pay dispute with the airline. “We put forward a proposal to BA management last Wednesday that would have enabled us to call off the strikes for Monday and Tuesday,” the British Airline Pilots Association wrote on Twitter.
