New Delhi, Oct 10 (IANS) The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked a panel of doctors in AIIMS to put on hold the medical procedure of termination of 26-week pregnancy of a married woman. A bench, headed by CJI D.Y. Shimla, Oct 10 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu on Tuesday said the government would withdraw, on humanitarian grounds, cases registered against the people who violated Covid-19 norms during the pandemic.Instructions had been issued to the officials concerned in this regard, he said.Sukhu said the pandemic was difficult for everyone and to prevent and contain it various measures had been taken and restrictions were imposed on the common man.During this period, hundreds of cases were registered for violation of norms. Lhasa, Oct 10 (IANS) Climbers have safely descended Mount Shishapangma in Tibet after avalanches left four dead or missing and two injured, according to the authorities on Tuesday.A total of 19 alpine rescue professionals were sent by the regional sports bureau soon after the avalanches occurred on October 7, reports Xinhua news agency.
