Vienna : Christian Stocker, Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, affirmed his country’s full commitment to working closely with partners in the Gulf and the Middle East to protect regional stability, emphasising Austria’s support for all diplomatic and political efforts aimed at de-escalating the situation and preventing the conflict from expanding.
Chancellor Stocker expressed Austria’s full solidarity with countries in the region targeted by Iran, stressing that these attacks must stop immediately to maintain security and peace.
On her part, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Austria, affirmed her country’s commitment to de-escalation, describing Iran’s attacks on regional countries as “unjustified” and stressing that they must stop immediately to prevent the region from sliding into a wider conflict.
