According to a state education department notification, in view of the International Day of Non-Violence to be observed globally on October 2, it has decided to observe the day in all the schools across the state.
The schools will remain open to organise programmes and activities to remind the students the culture of inclusive oneness.
A non-violence pledge to be administered to the school students on that day, the notification further mentioned.
