Manama : Al Noor International School held a ceremony in the school’s Multipurpose Hall to honour the winners of the “Quran Recitation and Memorising” competition.
Then the chief guest His Excellency Issa Sami Al Mannai Undersecretary Justice and Islamic affairs, accompanied by Mr. Ali Hasan Chairman of the school, honored and distributed prizes to 150 students who had memorized

The Holy Quran and who won the Quran recitation competition.

The chief guest, His Excellency Issa Sami Al Mannai, Undersecretary Justice and Islamic affairs handed out the prizes and certificates along with Mr. Ali Hasan, the school Chairman to the students from grade one to twelve.

Also present were the school Director Dr. Muhammad Mashood, Principal Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Shaer, officials from the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

The Ministry of Education, other dignitaries, members of QA Department, Head Teachers, staff members and parents. were present.

The welcome address was delivered by Ali Muhammad Hassan and Omar
Mohammad Ateeq of grade 10.

The verses of Holy Quran were recited by the Ziad Al-Azam Muhammad
Saif of Grade 11.

Muhammad Ibrahim Ahmed of Grade 12, Mahmoud Ibrahim Ahmed of Grade 12, Ibrahim Muhammad Imran of Grade 11.

Muhammad Mustafa Khaled of Grade 8, Gibran Mahmoud Jan of Grade 10,
Rahha Sultana Anwar of Grade 10.

Hassan Munir Ahmed of Grade 5, Hassan Issa Abu Khamas of Grade 5, Muhammad Rajab Abdul Karim of Grade 6, Ali Rajab Abdul Karim of Grade 5.

The verses of Holy Quran dazzled the audience.
The guest of the ceremony, Mr. Abdullah Abdul Aziz Qahtan Al-Omari, Director of the Holy Quran Affairs Department, accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Mashood the school Director, honored and distributed prizes to 100 students who had memorized the Holy Quran.

A total of 5000 students participated in the competition, with 800 students reaching the final rounds and 250 students won and received prizes under different categories i.e. memorizing and reciting surah, for best voice and tajweed.
