Riyadh : The Kingdom of Bahrain attended the meetings of the Executive Committee of the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC), and the meetings of the accompanying consultative discussions on efforts and mechanisms to combat the financing of terrorism in Africa.
A delegation led by Chief of Strategic Affairs at the Foreign Ministry Ambassador Nancy Abdulla Jamad attended the meetings which were held on August 23-24 in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ambassador Jamal stressed Bahrain’s active participation in the international efforts to combat terror finance, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to achieve peace through international partnerships to deal with terrorist threats.
She stressed Bahrain’s commitment, through its membership in the Executive Committee of the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center, to activate the multilateral frameworks of action with partners and allies to confront terrorist challenges and their financing, with the aim of achieving security and stability conducive to development and prosperity.
