Manama : Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, affirmed the government’s commitment to continuing to enhance its productive partnership and ongoing cooperation with the legislative authority, supporting national efforts and contributing to the prosperity of the nation and its citizens.
Minister Al Malki said the government will continue to build on this partnership in the spirit of Team Bahrain, based on the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Cabinet Affairs Minister said government efforts to address the Iranian attacks continued across various sectors, with the nation’s highest interests, the security and safety of citizens, and the continuity of services as key priorities.
He said the swift response and integrated efforts among government entities contributed to enhancing preparedness and limiting the impact of the circumstances on citizens and various sectors.
Minister Al Malki said efforts to support the private sector and business continuity included the launch of the “Musanada” programme by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Board of Directors, chaired by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of Tamkeen.
He said the programme aims to support 7,250 Bahraini micro, small and medium-sized enterprises through grants and financing facilities to enhance liquidity, ease operational burdens, preserve jobs, maintain the stability of the national workforce, and strengthen enterprises’ ability to continue operating and accelerate their recovery.
Minister Al Malki said these measures reflected a government approach based on responding swiftly to changing circumstances and anticipating their impact on citizens and economic sectors through an integrated framework of initiatives that takes national priorities into account and maintains the continuity of economic activity and labour market stability.
He said the government will continue, in cooperation with the legislative authority and all relevant entities, to enhance the sustainability of development efforts for Bahrain’s present and the future of its generations.
