Zandvoort : McLaren, owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat, won the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix.
Briton Lando Norris claimed victory for McLaren, ahead of Italian Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, with Briton George Russell finishing third.
Norris started from pole position after setting the fastest qualifying time of one minute and 11.163 seconds, giving him an important advantage ahead of the race.
With this result, McLaren increased its constructors’ championship tally to 263 points, while team driver Lando Norris reached 159 points in the Drivers’ Championship.
The achievement highlights McLaren’s success as one of Bahrain’s key global sports investments and reflects Mumtalakat’s commitment to supporting and developing international sport and enhancing the Kingdom’s presence on the global sports stage.
