Manama : Bahrain marked India’s 80 th Independence Day with a proud and simple flag hoisting ceremony held today (15 th August 2026) at its premises at 6:30am. The early morning function drew a patriotic gathering of more than 100 people, bringing together prominent Indian Club Members, alongside summer camp parents and children.
The ceremony commenced with the unfurling and hoisting of the Indian National tricolor flag, followed immediately by a collective, moving rendition of the National Anthem. The Club’s General Secretary, Mr. Anil Kumar R., warmly welcomed the gathered community members.
The Club’s President, Mr. Joseph Joy, delivered the official Presidential Address to the community.
Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a hearty breakfast, concluding the milestone celebration in a warm environment.
