Cairo : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa departed the Arab Republic of Egypt following a visit during which His Majesty held talks with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The discussions focused on the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt, means to further strengthen cooperation and close coordination, and the latest regional and international developments of shared interest.
HE President El Sisi bid farewell to His Majesty upon departure.
Following the visit, His Majesty the King sent a cable of thanks to HE President El Sisi, expressing sincere appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to His Majesty and the accompanying delegation.
His Majesty also expressed appreciation for the constructive talks and fruitful discussions held with HE the Egyptian President, which focused on regional and international issues of common concern.

HM the King commended Egypt’s steadfast support for the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its commitment to continued coordination and consultation in support of regional peace and security.

His Majesty extended best wishes to HE President El Sisi, and wished the Arab Republic of Egypt and its people further progress, stability and prosperity under His Excellency’s leadership.
