Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, who is visiting the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, was present.

HM the King reviewed means to further support the longstanding partnership between Bahrain and India, including opportunities to develop cooperation across various domains. HM the King said the strategic and longstanding Bahraini-Indian relations have continued over the decades on strong foundations of cooperation, respect and understanding.

His Majesty expressed appreciation for India’s solidarity with Bahrain following the Iranian aggression, and for its efforts within the international community to maintain security and stability and support global peace.
The meeting discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest, particularly the latest developments in the region and efforts to reinforce security, stability and peace.

For his part, the Indian External Affairs Minister commended His Majesty’s role in advancing the close relations between the two countries, in a manner that serves their peoples.
Dr. Jaishankar conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of President Droupadi Murmu of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with their wishes for Bahrain and its people continued progress and prosperity. HM the King conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the Indian President and Prime Minister, and to the people of India, for continued development and prosperity.
