Manama : Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, the Advisor for Media Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, received Isa Al Shaiji, Chairman of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA).
Al Hammadi commended the vital role played by the BJA in supporting the progress of journalistic work, developing national competencies, and advancing media content, in a way that enhances the sector’s ability to keep pace with rapid transformations and contribute effectively to various development paths.
He said the national press plays a key role in raising awareness and conveying accurate information, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He noted that this support has helped strengthen a responsible national media that upholds professional standards and keeps pace with the comprehensive development process. He also commended the continued attention of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthening the role of the national press and supporting its mission.
Al Hammadi said the national press has become a responsible platform that presents facts clearly, supports national interests, counters misinformation, and promotes awareness. He added that national media, in its role and responsibilities, supports the military and security forces, whose achievements continue to be a source of pride in protecting national gains, preserving unity, and safeguarding lives and property.
He noted that national media, with its sincere message, remains a reliable source of information that strengthens the spirit of belonging and loyalty, and enhances social cohesion, supporting national unity and rallying around the nation’s leadership under His Majesty the King.
Al Hammadi expressed his appreciation for national writers, noting their sense of responsibility and commitment to defending the Kingdom. He said that journalists’ professional contributions reflect strong national awareness and a clear commitment to protecting the nation’s achievements and interests under various circumstances and challenges.
For his part, Al Shaiji expressed pride in the support and attention given to the national press by His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He affirmed the association’s continued efforts to support journalistic work and strengthen its role, thereby reinforcing the position of national media as a key pillar in the Kingdom’s comprehensive development process.
