Manama : Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, met with Luigi Di Maio, European Union Special Representative for the Gulf.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom of Bahrain and members of the accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union and means to further develop them across relevant sectors, in a manner that supports strategic partnership and enhances the exchange of expertise and knowledge.
Minister Humaidan highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with international partners and advancing existing partnerships to support knowledge transfer and the adoption of innovative solutions in the energy and water sectors, in line with sustainable development goals.
Luigi Di Maio commended Bahrain’s efforts in developing the energy sector and underlined the importance of expanding cooperation to serve shared interests.
