Manama The Union of Arab National Olympic Committees (UANOC) has decided to appoint His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, as Vice President of the Executive Office of the Union.
The decision was issued based on the powers vested in the President of UANOC, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, and following the approval of the General Assembly at its 23rd meeting held on November 8, 2025, which granted the Kingdom of Bahrain the right to host the 16th Arab Games in 2027. The decision also follows the letter submitted by the Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee regarding the formation of the Supreme Organising Committee for the Games.
The appointment shall remain in effect until the conclusion of the 16th Arab Games, scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2027.
