Manama : The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announces that all its air defence systems are at maximum readiness to ensure the immediate and decisive interception of missiles and drones launched in the course of Iran’s continuing, unprovoked, and unconscionable terrorist aggression against the Kingdom of Bahrain. Our air defences have, with full efficiency and capability, destroyed 74 missiles and 95 hostile drones since the onset of these attacks.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force wishes to reassure all citizens and residents that specialist field teams are fully prepared and are moving at maximum speed to secure the sites of attacks and ensure the safety of all. Air defence systems remain at the highest state of alert and operational readiness.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force calls upon everyone to remain indoors and to venture out only in cases of absolute necessity, exercising the utmost caution and vigilance for their own safety. The public is urged to rely solely on official sources for information, to refrain from filming military operations, from circulating rumours, and from approaching or photographing affected sites.
The General Command further affirms that the indiscriminate and disproportionate launching of missiles and drones against civilians and civilian infrastructure constitutes a flagrant violation of the principles of international humanitarian law and the Charter of the United Nations, and represents a wholesale contempt for all international conventions and human values. The Kingdom reserves its full and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty and security.
