Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (13) of 2026 reorganising the Civil Service Bureau, based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
Article (1)
The Civil Service Bureau shall be reorganised as follows:
The President of the Civil Service Bureau, overseeing:
First: Compliance and Professional Conduct Directorate
Second: Director General of Institutional Services, overseeing:
1- Human and Financial Resources Directorate
2- Human Resources Systems Development Directorate
Third: Director General of Shared Human Resources Services, overseeing:
1- Shared Human Resources Services Operations Directorate
2- Shared Human Resources Services Control Directorate
Fourth: Director General of Organisation and Workforce Planning, overseeing:
1- Organisation and Administrative Engineering Directorate
2- Workforce Planning and Budgeting Directorate
3- Job Evaluation Directorate
Fifth: Director General of Human Resources Affairs, overseeing:
1- Recruitment and Transfer Directorate
2- Performance Management Directorate
3- Talent Development Directorate
Sixth: Director General of Institutional Efficiency, overseeing:
1- Institutional Performance Directorate
2- Institutional Excellence Directorate
Seventh: Director General of Strategies and Policies, overseeing:
1- Strategic Planning and Research Directorate
2- Policies and Regulations Affairs Directorate
3- Wages and Employment Benefits Directorate
Article (2)
Decree (49) of 2012 reorganising the Civil Service Bureau is hereby repealed.
Article (3)
The Prime Minister shall implement this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
