Manama : His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (11) of 2026 reorganising the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, based on a proposal by the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and following the approval of the Cabinet.
Article (I)
The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications shall be reorganised as follows:
Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, under whom operate:
First: Communication and Marketing Directorate
Second: Assistant Undersecretary for Telecommunications
Third: Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information, overseeing:
Information Systems Directorate
Human Resources Directorate
Financial Resources Directorate
Services Directorate
Fourth: Undersecretary for Land Transport and Post, overseeing:
a. Assistant Undersecretary for Post, overseeing:
Postal Regulation and Relations Directorate
Post Offices Directorate
b. Assistant Undersecretary for Land Transport, overseeing:
Land Transport Regulation Directorate
Land Transport Planning and Projects Directorate
Land Transport Monitoring and Inspection Directorate

Article (II)
Decree (95) of 2019 reorganising the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications is hereby repealed.
Article (III)
The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications shall implement the provisions of this decree. The decree shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
