Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (12) of 2026 reorganising the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, based on a proposal by the Minister of Finance and National Economy and following the approval of the Cabinet.
Article (1)
The Ministry of Finance and National Economy shall be reorganised as follows:
The Minister of Finance and National Economy, overseeing:
First: Public Debt Management Office
Second: Future Generation Reserve Fund Council
Third: Audit and Communication Directorate
Fourth: Assistant Undersecretary for Coordination and Follow-up
Fifth: Undersecretary for Financial Affairs, overseeing:
A. Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information, overseeing:
1. Human and Financial Resources Directorate
2. Information Technology Directorate
3. Government Property Affairs Directorate
4. Training and Administrative Development Directorate
B. Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Operations, overseeing:
1. Financing Operations Directorate
2. Payments and Collection Directorate
3. Accounts and Financial Systems Directorate
C. Assistant Undersecretary for International Cooperation Affairs, overseeing:
1. International Relations Directorate
2. Government Investments Directorate
D. Assistant Undersecretary for Fiscal Policy and Budget, overseeing:
1. Budget Directorate
2. Projects Directorate
3. Public Revenue Policy Directorate
E. Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Financial Services, overseeing:

Article (2)
Decree (17) of 2021 reorganising the Ministry of Finance and National Economy is hereby repealed.
Article (3)
The Minister of Finance and National Economy shall implement this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
