Manama : The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) will organise the His Majesty the King’s Endurance Cup Festival on February 12-14, at the Bahrain International Endurance Village.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, said the festival reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s established position in international equestrian sport, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He noted that the event attracts elite riders from across the world and demonstrates Bahrain’s organisational capacity to host major championships.
The three-day programme begins on Thursday, February 12, with veterinary inspections for local qualifying races and the 120km junior and youth cup. Friday, February 13, will include the 120km junior and youth race, alongside international and local qualifying races. The festival concludes on Saturday, February 14, with the 160km His Majesty the King’s International Cup and the 120km race for private Gulf stables, followed by the awards ceremony.
